That's an incredible milestone. I didn't realize only 2% reach 60 years! My second great aunt and uncle (who both passed in the last few years) achieved their 75th wedding anniversary! Cognition wasn't in attendance for one of the but, nonetheless, it was quite an experience!

Thank you for this heart-warming post. I agree, ". . . achieving a 65th wedding anniversary requires that you marry early and that you both live a long time" and that you don't get divorced!

We are aiming for #60.

So sorry Anne. It is hard. I lost my mum a couple of years ago, not long after mum and dad celebrated their 60th. They would have been married 63 years this year.
